Using Template includes more than once in same template

Is there a way I can use a <perch:template .... > more than once in the same template?

ie: If Is use <perch:template path="content/background-colour.html"> more than once in the same template this only shows up once in the CMS because it is pulling in a duplicate ID.

Is there a way to make it recognise this and give the ID of each Template includes a unique ID?

I take it this is not possible then
