Events custom field not showing in admin

So far I got the Events app to work to show a listing page. I'm trying to add a custom field but it doesn't show on the Events admin page.

Here is what I've got on the event listing page:

The Test Field doesn't show on the admin page when adding or editing an event.

I got this solved on my own. Was referencing the wrong template; should have used event.html in events directory.
