Uploaded image orientation into Assets panel

Hi

I have an enthusiastic but technophobic teacher who blogs on the new school Perch website (small rural primary school) that I built. For some reason all his images from his phone, appear in the assets panel as landscape and I understand from the old forum that there is no way to correct this in Perch. However I was hoping that maybe someone has a very simple solution on how to correct orientation before upload, on his phone?
