Assets being deleted when saving

Hi guys!

I've just upload a new webiste to my production server and noticed that images are being deleted when a edit a region. I looked at the resources folder and the images are in fact missing. Then I look at the frontend and the image element shows as: <img src(unknown)>. This doesn't happen on my local server.

Does it help if you set PERCH_CLEAN_RESOURCES to false in your config file?

It didn't help. I tried to upload the assets again for every item on that region and that worked. I don't know what happened though.
