I reckon the issue is probably that the search string is shorter than the 3 letter minimum that MySQL imposes. Do you have any numeric titles that are longer than 3 digits that you could test with?

It would be great if Runway search performed a bit better.

A specific suggestion I have is around numbers — I discovered that Runway does not return any results from a collection where I'm searching for an item that is simply named as a number.
    I've…

The assets load if you access them directly like so:
    https://www.grommets.co.uk/cms…full-width-v2-1-w2800.jpg

But they don't show on the website front-end or the bucket in the CMS.

Oddly, in Chrome it shows the following error:

  • You can do this in the menu manager in Runway.
  • Thanks for your tips. Yes, I should not have mentioned editing the **** files... never have before.

Thing is, you used to be able to edit the lang txt file to change this and you can still change all the other headings and buttons within the app. Not a…

    Hi,

Ok when I looked in the control panel it had made a new region for the index.php (about) section. So when I added the text it showed on the page!

So I need to keep the index page as index.php which then shows in the location as /index.php.

If you can see PHP code in your page source in the browser as described, it means the server did not execute your PHP code. Is the file saved as index.php or is this the path of the page in the control panel?

Almost. In fact we have reduced PERCH_UNDO_BUFFER to 1 in order to reduce the time taken by "OPTIMIZE TABLE PERCH_DB_PREFIX_content_index" when making changes.

However it did come in pretty handy once when my boss unchecked the "Allow multiple items"…

    Thread
    Hi,

I have a project for bike rentals and I'd like to use Perch Shop for this.

A user would typically wish to rent one or more bikes for a number of days, along with a number of possible accessories for the same period.

In an ideal world I'd like to…
  • Hi, I developed my first site with Perch. How do I now migrate the site from my local host to the server. It’s made with a test-licence. I bought already a licence which I have now to register to this website. Thanks for hints.:burd1:

    Hi Stuart

You are correct: Perch Runway is a different product.

Perch Blog is also a different product. The app is what determines what it should be called in the menu, which is a fair behaviour.

Also the Blog app is specifically designed for…

Are you suggesting I upgrade client to Runway just to rename "Blog" to "Projects" in the CMS menu?
