Hi,
Can you use categories in the Gallery app?
I have need to split up albums in two locations, and want to use Categories for this.
Any help would be much appreciated!

The Gallery app actually predates the Categories system. You can implement your own fields to offer some categorisation, but it wouldn't be via the Categories app.

Yes, you can add fields to the album.html master template.
