Errors Upgrade from Perch: 2.8.19 to latest version

    Hi followed directions here:

    When first tried to log in I received a maybe 40 errors as follows:


    I chose to accept these errors and continue.

    I can upload attachment with all the errors if needed.

    Do I need to take any actions to resolve any of these?


    Also when editing regions in Perch i get yellow warning bars at the top as follows:

    1. Template tag ID ‘starting-date’ contains disallowed characters
    2. Template tag ID ‘ending-date’ contains disallowed characters
    3. Template tag ID ‘web-site’ contains disallowed characters
    4. Template tag ID ‘web-site’ contains disallowed characters

    Is that complaining about my use of the '-' between words? Is this critical and how do I resolve the errors? I have lots of these throughout the site. I'll loose data if I change the id name???

    If the errors are just "already in use" warnings, then no, that's fine. You can ignore those.

    If everything's working then you should probably be fine for now. Keep it in mind with any new templates, however.

    Everything on the staging site seems to work OK since the upgrade.


    Attached are the errors we received. Id like to know if any are critical before going live with the update.

    Is there a way to hide or ignore the "Template tag ID ‘starting-date’ contains disallowed characters" message? Our people using the CMS are not going to know what it means and they will think there is something wrong.
