Thanks drew. I tried perch:pages as well and it didn't fix the issue. Right now I'm just using a work around.
I have a navigation template that displays all second-level pages. I want to include page descriptions with those. How can I do that? I think the best way is to grab the meta description from each page, but not sure how to do that. Thanks!
I have a navigation template in which I'm trying to include an image as a site attribute, but it's not working.
I create an attribute template that just includes:
Then I added this to my navigation template:
Note that the ID of "logoimage" matches the exists="logoimage". I then uploaded an image to the attribute in the page settings. I've confirmed that the image url is accurately being captured in the attribute. The problem seems to be that the ID isn't being associated with the image so the <perch:if> statement doesn't think the condition is met and the following image tag doesn't know what to use for the src.
I can't find an error in my syntax...any help? Thank you.
On the main Settings page there's a section where you can set the path for blog posts.
How do I find where my blog posts are currently saving to in the directory? I'm not seeing them anywhere. Or are they not saved as individual pages? No matter what I enter into the URL, I can't find a slug that loads the blog page...
Just to clarify: I found where in the settings page you can edit the blog path. The existing path stated is what gets the 404 and I'm not sure what to change it to.
Hi, I installed the blog app and am having trouble loading the blog details page.
The blog list page loads fine here: http://localhost:8080/industry-template/blog
When I click to view a blog post it goes here: http://localhost:8080/blog/pos…15-this-is-a-second-title
I'm not sure which directory the posts are actually saving to, but I would think this would work: http://localhost:8080/industry…15-this-is-a-second-title
It doesn't. Do I need to rewrite the URL to make this work? I've tried looking through the directory to find where the actual blog details for each post are stored and can't find them, so I'm not sure where to rewrite to.
Any help is appreciated. I can provide additional information if needed.
I want to allow users to upload a background image for a <section> on my site.
After referencing this thread, I wrote this:
<section id="section1" style="background-image:url('
And when I load the page, this is how it still looks in the inspector:
No idea how to resolve this. I've tried changing up the order of the quotations (double/single, etc) and nothing seems to work.
