Perch Collection Index not reduced when using "Delete all content from this collection immediately"

Hey,

As the subject states really, when using "Delete all content from this collection immediately", the perch index doesn't seem to drop, resulting in a largely inflated dataset in the collection_index table. Is there any reason for this?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated!

Yeah I came across this a while back. I ended up deleting the rows directly:

PHP

$API = new PerchAPI(1.0, 'your_app');
$db = $API->get('DB');
$table = PERCH_DB_PREFIX . 'collection_index';
$db->delete($table, 'collectionID', $collectionID);
