How can I grab the description of each page to display in my navigation template?

I have a navigation template that displays all second-level pages. I want to include page descriptions with those. How can I do that? I think the best way is to grab the meta description from each page, but not sure how to do that. Thanks!

Hello Jeremy,

How are you managing the page meta descriptions? As page attributes? If so, I think page attributes are included by default. Adding perch:showall to your template will output what you have access to within the template.
