Setting up a mirror copy of a site for staging and I'm getting this error on my last step in testing it. The CMS works fine, but when viewing the pages, this comes up in most browsers: "cannot decode raw data"
I'm pretty sure I've seen this before but can't remember the fix. hus_hmd - I'm sure you know this

I don't recall coming across this myself. A quick Google search suggests you may see this if your server does not support gzip compression. So I would:
I can't see the debug since the page doesn't load. THoughts?
Do you have access to your server error log? If you don't (or unsure how to access it), you can contact your host and they should be able to help you with this.
Long shot, but the last time my page didn't load, the problem was caused by the page template still had leftover code from an app I'd removed from my apps config, but forgot to remove code in template that was trying to load it. Told you it was a long shot!
Oddly it's only the home page, all the other pages work fine.
Can you share the code for your home page?
