Extend the Members App to enhance textarea fields in Member Profiles

This issue would appear to prevent the use of textarea fields that are editable by Member and Admin.

I'd like to have texarea fields that are editable by both.

Why? I'd like to display Member biographies on a site. There's more that I need to do for that and there's a third party app that I'm testing. However, the above would be needed as a starting point.

I may have been thinking about this the wrong way round. Member biographies are user-generated content, Users and Roles may be better. Each user will be assigned a specific role to allow them to edit their own "page". I'll output that data in the way that I need.
