New Member Profiles app

Hi folks, I’m trying to gauge demand for a Perch App that would enhance the Members app with member profiles. I know that there is a similar app called Member Profiles but there are limitations to what can be achieved with that. The new app would:

- automatically create a profile when a new member is registered

- have a form handler (to allow members to edit their own profiles) and allow for the use of images and textarea fields

- list the profiles in a nice way on the control panel clearly indicating which member they belong too

- use Runway Collections

- be Runway only

I will be funding development myself and it's unlikely that I would be selling the app. However, I would be available for hire if people want the app.

I have a quote for the development but I'm not able to fund it. Or, rather, I cannot justify the cost at the moment.

I would fund it if a client needed it. But, my initial reason for wanting to do this is a personal project ... without funding!

It's a quote from another developer.

The quote for this app for Runway and Collections was ~ £800 to £1000. This quote builds upon Runway's functionality. Double that to build from scratch for Perch and Runway. Knowing the developer who gave me the quote, I don't doubt it would be a high standard of work.

I've not been able to fund this and it's not in development at the moment. Sorry about that.
